If you are a former student visiting this page, this one will bring back some memories! I have used this little blues song with almost all of my students. It is a great tune to develop rhythm, coordination, emotional feel, and uses all the strings. It also incorporates what is called "dissonance" on the first riff when you play Bb-B-E in sequence! Normally you wouldn't want to play a Bb next to a B-E! But it has that very cool sound with tension, and can give anyone a feel for the blues! Remember if notes are stacked on top vertical, they are to be played together as a chord. But if they are slanted, like the first riff, they are to be played as a sequence flow right after one another.
